You are required to conduct an extensive qualitative research of an individual and try to understand their consumer behaviour better.
Each of the group has been allocated a person from a certain market segment. You are expected to follow the consumer behaviour of these people for a few months and in the process understand the concepts of Consumer Behaviour in a better way.
Firstly, you are expected to develop a personality profile of your chosen individual. This profile should be for at least one page but can be made as extensive as possible. You can also pick up traits from The Trait Theory given in the chapter pertaining to Personality.
Secondly, you will then follow the consumption behaviour of these individuals. This monitoring may be done in multiple ways. For example, making consumption tables, accompanying the person for shopping, making videos of their consumer behaviour, taking photographs, discussing and interviewing them, talking to people related to them etc.
You will also be judged for your innovativeness during the presentation for example by including photographs and videos but do not include these without due permission from the individual.
Each of you is required to include your name, roll no. and the market segment that you are researching. Write them in the Comments Section given below. Also include your e-mail addresses for future correspondence.
